Just caught this on Darrens blog, I would suggest everyone to read it. http://www.problogger.net/archives/2007/06/29/adsense-launch-referrals-20/
No I don't think it will. This is CPA (cost per action) not CPC (cost per click). Your trying to sell products, not getting people to click ads
I just got this in my account, but I dont have a clue what to do with it. I can choose among product categories and affiliates like I do in Clickbank or CJ. The difference is like always with adsense that I dont get to know how much my cut are of course. "Unlike AdSense for content ads, our program policies allow you to make specific references to referral ads on your site." Thats good, you can promote the ad. I am trying it on a cooking site now.
AdSense referrals are great, but you need targetted traffic (alot of traffic) cos out of 1000 people 1 is gonna sign up (maybe) and than just pray to god he makes his first 100 bucks ASAP
Were not talking about adsense/adwords/firefox referrals, these are products like you would find at clickbank or CJ.
Adsense changes its payment system for products. When a people register with your ref and get 5$ in 180 days you will also get 5$.Give it a look on ansense site.
i checked out a few on my niche, not that impressive. Some like $0.15 commission to a registration (free)... i rather make money with clicks. Bleh what do i know, my site never worked for affiliate marketing except for firefox.
That's rather dull. I have a feeling this could kill Adsense CPC slightly and also the smaller CPA networks if they are only paying $0.15 on a free registration. Some of them are likely to pay this just to get very cheap traffic to their sites. To earn that $0.15, you will probably have to get over 10 - 20 people to click on the ad. I have also read the first step here It is very bad that you have to select your sites audience where they are mainly coming from, etc. This is because you may get some leads to the offers that only pay for leads from certain countries meaning you will not get paid for that lead. If that is the case then an Advertiser could easily select that they only want leads from the UK and only pay for them when they also want them from other countries, but will not have to pay for them even though they will get them. If it will work like this, then Google should only show the offers in the ads that pays for the countries and the languages that you have chosen. Also, where do you find the PPA program in your Adsense control panel? I couldn't find it anywhere.
if you have it you should see it in the usual google cpa section, that's where you see the adsense/adword referral and google pack, firefox etc product page
Google is copying amazon, clickbank & cj now they are gonna eat their competitors just like Microsoft does
Hey, if Google is able to consolidate it and I am able to add another way to earn money, I am golden.
Registered already, but it's still not effect in adsense set up page I think we have to wait more about a week. And thank you for url link from darren
