Adsense Referral

has some one joined Adsense from your refferal unit? i've got many clicks but no conversion. similar is case with my Fire Fox

 

Same here ... lots of clicks without conversion - a waste of good real estate space I'm beginning to think.

 

The person who joins adsense through your referal has to make 100$ before you get paid for it. This can take some time obviously.
For the firefox referals I get about 1 payment every day. But the payout is about 0.25 per referal. (You only get a buck if the person is in the US i think)

 

I have 5 adsense referal signups ....
The conversion will take some more time ....
In firefox referal i have 300+ clicks... and 23 converstions so far...

 

I understand what you're both saying, but the stats show:

Clicks / CTR / Sign-up / Conversion / etc.

I've had lots of clicks with no sign-ups, so there's no conversion to be had

 

sign up refers to adsense sign up.

conversion refers to the first time a user downloads firefox from your site and runs it.

i've had one adsesne and 4 firefox conversions.

 

I wouldn't expect to make a lot of money from the AdSense referral program. If you get any money, treat it like gravy, but don't let it distract you from making money with the ad and link units -- those are your meat and potatoes. I keep hoping Google will add text links for referrals, too, not just those image-based units.

 

I agree with you. It will be a nice way to make some extra money, but should not be a focus as your going to make more money from running a well run website with your normal adsense. Also text links would be a nice addition to their current setup.

i don't even have a search box on my site since i don't think it will do any good, considering that there're so many ways a user can search without having to come to my site (and moreover mine isn't an information site).

so yeah, like eric says, get the meat and potatoes.

 

so far I have made nothing with the referal program...but I'm about to referal some of my friends.

 

Is the Firefox conversion based on location?

 

Yesterday i got first conversion for FireFox and it gave me 10 cents only ($0.10)

i think it is so. and rates are high for US and europe (may be)

 

I'm not to sure about that, we have a search box on every page, with no search box of our own. We have about 16,000 pages in our website, which I believe people are mistaking the Google Search for our search and using it. It is turning out well.

 

Few sign-up's with AdSense - no results. About 20 Firefox downloads. The downside is that in Finland we get just 10 cents per Firefox referal. It was changed from $1 down to $0,10 after few days the referal program started. At Google's pages they still say that the pay is $1.

What I'm missing is same reports for referal's as for AdSense. Now we just can't see the referal report for november.

 

Google has always said that Firefox downloads will always pay up to $1. They never said it would be $1 in all cases, for everyone....

 

You're right. In my case the first download was $1 and all the rest $0,10

 

i had 2 $1 jobs & now its .10c, glad i didn't add this but to one (the main) page

 

owh.. that a pity..
