I got this message today when I logged into adsense today NOTE: At the end of January, we will no longer support referrals to the AdSense product in India. If you are displaying referral units directing visitors to use AdSense, you will need to update your pages. .... I understand about other referrals, but adsense?? There are thousands of publishers in India.. Why did google take this decision? - many Indian sites attract US visitors, and at least that is the only way to make decent money for an Indian webmaster. So And Indian site will convert as good as any US site - As mentioned above there are thousands of adsense Users in India. Is it that very few Indian Adsense users sign up via referral? Or is there some fraud originating from India. Friends and relatives signing up? One thing is for sure, the make money sites will see a drop in revenue... Is Google not happy with the performance of Adsense in India.. ? Time for Indian Webmasters to work even harder.. India still doesn't have a Markus Frind Jimkarter what are you doing ?
Dude get yourself updated. It will work for all indian publishers however your referrals will only be counted from north america, canada and japan. Does that make sense? dont confuse people.
I never got to the update pages.. The link was broken.. Anyway, My point was not so much about Referrals not working for the publishers, than for the referrals themeselves
Us slowdown has finally affected the goggle ad sense too. I think it is not only India but most of Asian countries
