Adsense Raping me, need new network

I have a site currently using Google adsense its generating about 7k-8.5k Unique vistors per day and around 500 clicks on average daily. But the ads that are shown on the site seem to payout really small.

    Example Yesterday:
524 Clicks and earned only $9.70

Another site of mine on adsense yesterday :

    341 clicks and earned $36.43

The site is a Entertainment/comic book site Visited by mostly teens. What Ad network would you guys recommend for it. To me it seems like Adsense is raping me.

I don't know much about the comic book industry, but perhaps it's not that Adsense is raping you, instead there's just not much competition for sites focusing on that niche and bids are still quite low ?

The entertainment niche just never pays well - I think you'll struggle to find anywhere better than AdSense.

Have you tried some CPA affiliate networks. There are some that will most probably have things like free screensavers, icons, etc. which teenagers may like and with some of the offers you get paid for a 1 submit email or zip code form.

    Did this suddenly change?

You do know that your best paying ads are displayed in the first adblock, right? First being the closest to the beginning of file.

jags2ooo, what is your site? Would you mind sending me the URL? Maybe ExoClick.com can generate more for you.
Also, what are your top countries?

    Cheers!

I'd suggest, first, that you diversify your monetization, capture leads if you're not capturing them and focus on the ads and keywords themselves. I deal with a pretty large PPC account on a daily basis for a client (though I've just in the last couple of months started building a strategy around it - it was completely out of control before that) and I can tell you that there's almost no reason that AdWords shouldn't be your number one source of traffic unless you catch one of those odd demographic segmentations like the age split between YAHOO! and Google users (YAHOO! being more established and having an older following, etc). Generally speaking, though, the AdWords users are going to look pretty similar to YSM and AC users.

he's actually talking about adsence. jags2ooo try and find an affiliate that sells comics especially the kind that your site covers maybe you can get more money that way. AuctionAds also might be worth a shot.

Sorry, I had been up all night and my brain took a dump and read AdSense as AdWords. My mistake!

Don't know if Amazon sells the kind of comics your site is about but if they do an affiliation with them might be interesting? Or an eBay affiliation (direct or through AuctionAds but the latter is having a lot of issues at the moment), I'm sure they have tons of comics. You can combine these with Adsense.

I agree with diversifying your monetization... never keep all your eggs in one balance.

Well this is how adsense works... do through the forums (site sell) and you can see even greater examples there.
