i am trying to figure out how much i will get paid for ads, and i had some questions to see if i understand it right...

when i bid for something on adwords.. say the CPC is 5 dollars....

if that ad was to land on someones site... that means they would get 5 dollars every time someone clicks on the ad

and if someone bidded 5 dollars, and that ad landed on my site i would get 5 dollars per click...

and i know on adwords you have to pay for the keywords... but it doesn't cost anything to add the keywords on your adsense dose it, or is it based on the meta tags you put on your site?

Most of the people even from the top experience a nominal eCPM of 1-2$.

If the keyword is worth 5$ then you can expect 1$ from google as it keeps the rest for high paying keywords.

You cannot add keywords on adsense, its only text based.

Equal importance is given to metatags and text on the site.

okay so if my traffic wasn't that good i wouldn't be making the 1 dollar per click but if my traffic was decent i would be getting $1-$2 per ad.... i don't understand how the ad would know about your sites traffic

i am advertising in a popular niche... but i only get about 2000 visitors a day and only 35% are clicking on ads

i haven't realy modified the ads latley.. there just not performing well

35% click thru is pretty high i'd say - so if you're getting 2000 visitors then you are getting 700 clicks a day? i dont think you can get them to perform any better than that lol
