    Hello All,

I'm new to the site but really value the information I've gleaned here. I have a question that I hope has not been asked 1000 times before.

I have a very busy forum that displays AdSense ads. It appears as though once a user has been displayed ads x numbers of times, they stop displaying for that user for a certain length of time. I say this because After reading many of the messages, the ads stop displaying for me, but I know they are still being served because I'm still getting clicks.

Does AdWords do something like this? Any idea of the threshold?

Thanks for any help and apologies if this has been answered before.

    Cheers

No, there is no such policies for serving ads..
I run a forum and that never happened to me.

    Abhik,

Thanks for the reply. Any idea why some visitors are displayed the ads and some are not? The message board gets close to 50,000 page views a day and I would like them all to see the ads :).

    Cheers

I think I found the cause. I have a very specific market the AdSense ads display for. It looks like many of the advertisers have configured their AdWords accounts not to display for certain times of the day (usually late night US time).

There may be other reason behind this
    Like
Firefox user can disable java script, no java script means no ads
    user can use adbloacks too
