    Hi All,

I'll start my 1st post with something thta has been boggling my mind for a while.

    Adsense --

I have seen 10292109210 websites and ads on making tons of money off your adsense, but most of these expers are full or (you know what) as they all want you to make pointless websites to fool google to post the most expensive ads on them.

My question is, if there are ways to actually ways of increasing adsense revenue on a REAL site. I run a ISP Provider/Web Host directory and would like to increase my adsense there. I would however REALLy not like to have to put 'yahoo domain registration', 'viagra pills', 'debt consolidation' as the major keywords on my site.

Any help in this regard appreciated.

Go for the google optimization guide, then find out what perform better (blending or standing out...) etc. If the ads are irrelevant use section targeting first. If they are relevant but do not provide you the best results you'd like to have, then go to the advertisers and ask them to raise their bids (joking). Well in fact there are no ways to fool google. Either your site *IS* about debt consolidation and the ads show ads about that, or it is not. If it's not and the earnings are way too low, then you either need to find other ways to generate revenue (eg. selling links) or increase your pageviews!

There are many factors that determine AdSense revenue - format, colors, borders, placement, etc. Probably the best way to determine what works best on your site is testing and tracking different combinations. If you don't have any experience with this yet, I can recommend Joel Comm's book 'Adsense Secrets' - granted, he's a so-called "expert", but I gleaned a lot of valuable information from reading his book.

Thanks ... adsense was my 1st attempt at the pay-per-click market. I'll read up more on them and investigate other avenues.
