    Hi guys.
i am a first time poster and a long time (well not that long) lurker. I really like what yall have been talking about and the good advice everyone gives. thanks.

i recently spent some time playing with the adsense javascript code and i made a fancy little tool that will allow you to preview what ads will be displayed for either a keyword(s) or url.

it is written in .net so it is windows only (sorry mac friends).

    it is here: http://dopeman.org/aqt/

(someday i will be able to post live links... someday)

let me know what you think.

the ads displayed are using the test flag with no client id specified. so no one is getting ripped off. i hope ;)

i got some other tools to let loose soon. ;)

    thanks,
    nata2

    heh.

yea that does suck. but the rapid app. development rules.

totally makes the 200mb worth it. ;)

try it. you could write anything in about 4 hours. love it.

yea. that is a pretty big problem ;)

I imagine it has to do with the version of the .Net framework.

Do you know what version you have installed.

i am interested in seeing what others are experiencing.

Why not just use the official Adsense preview tool? This seems kinda pointless.

BTW the .NET framework is only 20 mb :)

well. it may be pointless.. but i wanted a tool that wasn't dependent on browsing to a specific site. as well as i wanted something i coudl type a keyword into and get results that way - which i don't think the google preview tool offers..

so i guess it isn't pointless...

i would say i wanted a non ie specific tool - but it uses an embedded ie - so that is a really bad reason. ;)
