    Hi there

    My name is Paul
    out of Johannesburg, South Africa

I've been reading these forums for some time and finally decided to register.

I have 1 very serious question.

I have seen a number of "programs" for sale on the net
things like adsense gold ( http://www.adsensegold.com/ ) and

    Adsense insider secrets ( http://www.adsense-insider-secrets.com )

Now while some people laugh at these type of programmes, my question is this :

If the said programme offers a full money back guarantee over 60 days and i cant fond anything negative about them on the net, is it a bad buy ?

Who uses these kinds of programmes and have they worked for you ?

    Regards

    Paul

lemme sum up adsense for you:

if you are willing to spend enough time, commitment, passion, and maybe a little bit of money, it can work wonders. these e-books, secrets, most of them are found just by spending A LOT of time browsing through forums like DP. some people have sworn by the books, some thinks their money are better spent developing their site, etc.

most newbies register for adsense, expect money to flow like fountain and when they don't, they complain saying the programs doesnt work. or they rush out and pay $3928749832 for stuffs that you can really get from here itself. i wont' say they're outright useless; it's just that different things suit different people. truth is, there's no such thing as easy money. adsense looks like an easy earning (register, put ads, wait for checks). But you've got to work REALLY hard before you can reach that level. it's like real estate. you don't go out to buy a property and rent it out and expect money to rush in.

what is your goal? how much do you plan to commit yourself? ask yourself these questions, and decide if adsense is for you.

These programs are used by people who want to make quick money, but finally fail to do so. I don't think they ever keep up the full money back guarantee .. Some program do have a list with high paying keywords...
While their corresponding traffic would be less (from google search) for some keywords...
Say a keyword "Y" averages 100 clicks a day @ $2.5/click .. A person takes advantage of this fact and creates a page/site dedicated for this keyword... So, once this site becomes responsible for the increase in avg click by 50-70%, i bet the adsense account is in trouble...

Never ever buy an adsense ebook. You will get a lot more varied and often very quick repsonses to any questions you would like to ask right here. The great thing is there is different levels of experience and knowledge about adsense of members here, so you will get a nice mixure of opinion to base your judgements on.

    My $0.02

I haven't every purchased an AdSense book, but I know what's in them. However, if you see someone here with several green bars, a couple thousand posts and an AdSense E-book they wrote - chances are it's worth the money.

The people on DP are collectively a very intelligent bunch, save for the random jackass that likes to troll. If you know very little about AdSense and you want a crash-course, either spend a couple days reading DP and other sites or buy an e-book. The only difference for you is going to time vs. money and you don't have to weed out what forum info is bogus spam. Which one is more valuable to you. Be wary of E-Books that over-promote other sites and services though. These types of E-Books are more 'marketing material' than they are 'helpful guide'.

Hope this helps. Also, don't forget to check out Nintendo's AdSense FAQ.

The answer to that question lies in programs like Mining Gold and The Rich Jerk. The simple answer is that you write the book once and sell it tens of thousands of times without having to write new articles or herd content all day. Here's a quick example:

    E-Book Price: $47
Conversion Rate: 0.1% (That's a pretty modest figure I think)
    "CPM" : $47

How many of your sites does it take to equal a CPM of $47?

That said, Very few "guru's" write tell-all books. If they do, it's out of ego (hey we've all got one - an ego that is). These are the books you want. Not the ones done by people who just spent $500 on 20 different E-Books and now they're trying to recoup their money by cramming it all into one.

    I bought one of them.
Unless your time is worth more than $99 for an hr, you should probably just look around this forum real quick and will find essentially the same info, and save yourself some offer spamming later "FREE 3rd version.... if you sign up for $500 phone conference".

    Good luck

i wouldn't entirely agree to that. to complement Greg-J's post, some people may find CERTAIN e-books useful. if you do not have the time to read up everything by browsing sites and forums, a reputable and reliable e-book may be for you. it's plain economics. does it cost you more to browse forums then to read an e-book? if the answer is yes, then buy a reliable e-book. if not, participate in forums and browse the Net.
