Adsense profits cut down due to euro - USD exchange rates.

I have been running adsense on my sites for almost a year now.
The thing is that I live in Greece and the currency here is "euro".
There has never been such a low exchange rate between USD and euro before, so the cheques I receive have started losing value.
Of course there are some good things coming out of this though... I can buy things in USD which cost me a lot less, but in terms of adsense.... I am screwed.
    (1,58$ = 1 euro)

    Anyone else having this problem?

Yes. My adsense account is with UDS currency and $ is reducing its value against my local currency. So i am also loosing profit.

    may be all world loses

me too I get $ and the exchange rate into Philippine currency is about 25% lower than a year ago

hence we all have to work harder to compensate for the loss in us$ reputation/value.

Also have you noticed that more and more european sites are doing adwords and take over some really competitive keywords?
Maybe this is a chance to make over for the losses since buying adwords is much cheaper for europeans now.

That's normal due to weakening dollar.

Imagine mine... before I was receiving 5,600 pesos for $100, but now I'm only getting 4,200 pesos... the difference is equivalent to the price of 1 sack of rice (50kgs)...

    reason for dropping $ = 2-fold

    1. USA too much money wasten in war
    2. USA too lazy to do hard or dirty work = outsourcing more and more to those countries willing to do whatever job at whatever price the marked can AFFORD

    result:

asian countries UP because hard working and doing all the dirty work of europe and usa

hence $ down - asian currencies way up

my asia related adsense channels usually are the highest paying ......

For us Indians, the price went INR 39 from INR 48 for each dollar. Thats 19% loss in our earnings. :(
So, I thinks its same for all people, except people in USA.

You're not alone. Every currency in the world is gaining strength and value above the dollar. Our loss is big, but there is little we can do except to work more to compensate the loss.
