Adsense Profits anyone?

Well first of all hello, I have just joined this forum, but I have lingered for a while now, in "offline" mode... but finally thought it was the time to make an account.

My name is Daniel Graf, 2 months ago, after a few unwanted events at my job, I have decided to do research on whether the rumours of making money online were true. I have saved up some money and quit my job. I have enough to last for about 6 months, but I also have some profits coming in from AdSense and Amazon, together. It certainly isn't a lot, but it really makes a difference on how long I can stretch this out. I am literally buying more time right now to continue my experiments.

I first became familiar with AdSense in 2007, and worked for many months on creatingweb content, because it seemed like everyone was saying that it was the single-most important element of a profitable web page.

That was actually confirmed. But I also learned one thing. The key, as far as AdSense advertising goes, is in extremely targeted traffic. But not necessarily large amounts of it. When I first started, I thought I would need to bring in thousands of traffic per day just to make anything work. After 3 years of writing content, I realize that it was not true.

I found out that Amazon affiliate program is actually pretty good, but probably it's only worth for side-income that compliment AdSense. Combining these programs together by clever ad placement and showing Amazon affiliate link on relevant pages, I was finally able to pay my apartment's rent...

I recently started to investigate the dynamics of email marketing. What if I can master it (if it does work), and make that yet, another one of multiple stream incomes?

I would call it "sacred trinity" of making money online :) We'll see how it works out.

How does anyone else make money online? I would love to learn about how other people make money online -- if they do. I am new here.

If I were you, I wouldn't post links to a blog you own that contains AdSense Ads. You are going to get click bombed and your AdSense will be disabled by Google. It's something that happens quite often on this forum. Just letting you know.

Hey Daniel nice to meet you!
I make money from adsense, affiliate marketing, and running a classified ad listing site.
I think its good to diversify in case something goes awry...
ie: google bans your adsense account for you being too awesome. :)
