I need to update my Privacy Policy for a network of 190 websites. Would it be okay to simply link back to the main site's Privacy Policy on all of the individual sites? Or will each site need to have its own?
Anyone have any ideas? I have searched but can't find an answer. Damn, I sure don't want to have to do privacy policies for all 190 sites!
i don't know if it is written, but i'm sure they wouldn't have a problem with that as long as it is your privacy policy. i would use no follow though.
Yes, I think it's fine to link to a privacy policy from all your sites - assuming that the privacy issues are the same for all of them. If you collect email address on some, but not others (for example), you might have to make more than one policy. Here is an example: http://www.jensense.com/2009/04/03/...ample-with-interest-based-targeting-included/ Instead of inserting "yoursite.com", you could instead insert something like "87 Lakers Web Network" and then put a definition somewhere listing your sites.
