How do you become an adsense premium publisher? Is there a minimum monthly income etc? Also what are the benefits?
    Thanks in advance

You can apply to be premium publisher if your site receives 5 million+ search queries or 20 million+ content page views a month.

The two big benefits are you get to pick your own keywords and you can customize the ads using CSS so it blends any way you want.

So does it have to be one site or all of my sites in my adsense account? Also do you know anything about adsense premium publisher benefits?

I've no idea about this one, but I assume it should be same % for premium publishers. Any thoughts?

I think so too. If a site has 1,000,000 impressions a day and 0.5% CTR, it generates 5000 clicks/day. There are not many websites can produce 5000 clicks a day. If I were G, I would give them a bigger cut to keep them happy.

I wouldn't mind having 5000 clicks/day :) I am sure there are many sites out there having this kind of traffic.

I can't image 5000 clicks per day. Almost all your family could retire with that....

Let's put it this way there is a consultative process between Google and the client. This includes discussion of many things including impressions, ctr and price. I do not know of any publishers who have become premium publishers for any other reason than the money but there may be some :)

not to bring this topic back but i got a quick q..

anyone knows about any updates to the premium publisher? is it 20m impressions?
cause right now i have 5.5m impressions this month and on the track to 17m impressions.. and hopefully within a month or so i can have 20m impressions..

will that allow me to be a premium publisher? or does it have to be 20m unique visitors?

and also would i have to apply or will they automatically update my account? please let me know. thanks

Normally you would apply when you have 20+ million page views per month but there is no guarantee you will be accepted. I have met premium publishers who were publishers already who did not apply but were invited.
