Anyone else think that Adsense bids will logically come down due to US recession in 2007 to 2008 or beyond ..? I am seeing lower bids on most of my channels . Especially if your niche is financially related....less competition = lower maximum bids. they are not new and have been filtered.
Yes, thats how economics work as our economy decreases,..so will its advertisers..you will ofcourse see advertisers who will advertise just as much but i see it trending the economy.
They will decrease over time either way. When they first came out they paid more and people looked for lower cost terms and learned how to smart price.
Of course. People have to keep up with the times if they are in this business instead of whining about lower CPC. Threads pop up all day about CPC starting to decline--no sh!t sherlock... so quit or fix it. For some of my niches I've seen a dramatic decrease in CPC--others, however, are still stable and performing well. Juggle a decent combination and there won't be problems.
Some other geographical people will bid more and eventually the effect may get nullified but it depends on many other factors in your niche.
Dont really know, remember that in difficult times some people try everything to get more money, that includes stocks, loans, etc. Do not forget that the crisis is more localized in usa radder than in hole world so there might be some hope if you have a blog/site in financial area.
it's true CPC is really important, but if you've got a lot of traffic daily, you'll still earn a lot of money
