    Hello,

I've run other anime websites previous to this one, which made nearly $12-15 per day from AdSense.

This website has similar ad placement, but gets much less clicks and revenue ($3-4)/day. The amount of visitors on this one is much higher than the other...

Can anybody give me tips on good AdSense placement compared to your experiences?

    Thanks!

I see this term a lot, and I can't find a clear explanation anywhere. What exactly is this?

smart pricing is some term to justify paying you peanuts for clicks. But it varies, sometimes the prices will go back up.

As for adsense placement I would put your two adsense blocks side to side, upper, like the first thing people see instead of text.
And then on the right column, this is a common design for blogs, but in reality it would work better if it was reversed, the columns on the left.

    Good luck

Does search engine referrers cause the bids on the ads to be much lower?

So far today I've made $7.03 (1 PM). This is a little less than 2x what I normally make off of this site in a full day. BUT at the same time I noticed I have less than half of the normal clicks I usually have, so the rates are much higher now.

I was a little curious as to why I am having less hits today than usual, but making more money. I went to my Yahoo! Publisher account, and saw that I ran out of funds yesterday, so I was not getting hits based off of search engine ads.

Is this possibly why I was earning so little? Because lots of my hits were paid from Yahoo?
