    Seems fine. Not too intrusive.

You have pushed your ads to far to the right side. Also, you need to make them "stand out" a bit more.

It looks like you didn't optimize your ads, position wise, based on Google's suggestion (the heat map at http://support.google.com/adsense/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1354747 ).

Also, did you try as an alternative, to use text ads in place of your existing image ads with matching colors of your blog
along with a spunky title/or image to make them stand out?
You have to be carefull though not to overdue it and get penalized for it.

Trial and error are your friends.
You need to try out all possible combinations of positions/colors/image ads/text ads to get the most "juice" out of your adsense.
And don't forget to try out filtering junk or irrelevant ads from your page, it might help raise significantly your CTR.

you blog design is clean and your content is good. your can place more ads in your blog. you can put ads below your header and in sidebar. however your blog is looking good. add privacy policy to your blog other wise it will create problem for your adsense account.

You should probably do randomized placement in posts, use a high CTR adsense plugin, like this one: All in One Adsense

Not too intrusive = low CTR
    Your choice.

Placement should be fine but it might be better to put the content ad even a bit higher.
