Hi, I read many users here use Bluesense theme for wordpress for its adsense placement for max ctr, but i am still not sure if the adsense placement is compliant with google terms.. i remember reading that google does not allow ads to be shown after the post title.. can someone please help . Here is the link to the demo theme: http://www.doshdosh.com/bluesense-theme/
The rule is that you are not allowed to format your ads so that people might mistake them for menus or regular site content. My sense is that the theme is sort of borderline - more with the link ads in the blue stripe where a lot of themes have a navigation menu than the ads under the title, which doesn't look confusing to me the way the demo implements it. However, it might depend on what exactly the text of your post heading is. The problem is that it's sort of an "eye of the beholder" issue - if someone is confused whether the ads are ads or not it's an issue. If not, probably not. There are some examples on the official Adsense help site and official Adsense blog: http://adsense.blogspot.com/2008/03/another-look-at-optimizations.html https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=136881 https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=136901 https://www.google.com/adsense/supp...r=136882&cbid=1jvny2wnhpd6h&src=cb&lev=answer https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=105960
Thanks Nonny, that really helped. I was planning to use this theme for my blog but now i might give it a second thought as i dont wanna lose my adsense account.
