Adsense picture ads

    Anyone else getting these new picture ads today? They're not at all related to the content on my site...can't say I'm pleased.

    If you have chosen "text ads only" its weird that they show image ads. But if you have chosen "text and image ads" or "image ads only" then its just as its supposed to be, isnt it? Well except that they are not related to your sites content. Guess you need to optimize it better for adsense if thats the case

    On creating the Ads Code just pick up the "Text Only Ads" option.. or you can globally disable the image ads from your account setting

    These are the image ads

    i displaying only txt ads on my sites because picture ads looks like ads :D i think i earn less with image ads

    I have text and image ads, but today is the first day they've shown up. My site has been running for two weeks now and up until today they've shown content relevant ads.

    I never had good ctr with image ads, so I always select "text ads only" now for all ad units on my sites.

    Adsense has started to gradually expand further and further into the CPM market with traditional image banners. They just aren't telling anyone about it. So if you choose the default setting, you will get a lot of image banners, moreso than before.
