adsense phone number

Anyone know why Adsense needs our phone number? Has anyone been called by them?

I'm wondering because I'm rather finicky about giving it out.

One of the most important rules of business is "Know thy customer." I have never been called and I've never heard of anyone getting called, but whenever money is exchanged, it's customary in business to exchange contact information. Further, Google is most likely using this information for various reasons other than calling people.

 

I would give them a sample of dna for all I care, as long as I continue doing business with them.

 

When they want to offer you special stuff you will get a call from them. (seriously)

Premium is kind of outdated now... they have many more programs when you are ready they will contact you about.
