    Hi All,

When i started with google adense i was paid very well for all clicks however as time passed the payout reduced and now for same pages where I used to get $0.30 to $0.40 now i just get $.06,

Well, this is happening to everyone. I have a good CPC for my website, maybe around $0.4-$0.5 for each click. But for now, I only get around $0.2 per click.

Try removing adsense from pages that have the lowest click-through rate. I've found that the higher the click-through rate - the better earnings per click. I've heard the same story from others too.

Google is giving away free $50 to everyone who signs up for AdWords with unique credit card. So people generate thousands of virtual cards, sign up, get $50 on each account then spend this money to advertise.

Do you really think Google would give away millions of dollars ... hmmm, I don't think so ... :)

The above is one of the reasons publishers get poorly paid for clicks.

They always have a lame excuse (smart pricing). This is something they introduced to cheat our money.

i actually saw a video on youtube from joel comm which fixed my problem
since then my clicks are worth more $

    please do not quote me

say you have a 2-3 column template with ads in the left coloumn plus ads in the content column at the top and middle of the page. right column you might have your link pages and maybe other advertising etc.

Google will assign the high paying ads to the top of the ads in the left column and the then go down the page. They will then assign $values to the top ads in the content section and middle posts. Then the ads in the right column

Now here is the problem - no one ever clicks on the ads in the left column because they are off screen. The first thing a visitor sees at your site is the 2 ads 1) at the top and 2) the middle of your post.

But!! These are lower paying ads because of the left column ones being assigned more $value you will never get a good paying click.

So what i did i found which ad was getting most clicks and made sure google read these first.

    Hope this makes sense.

    Most probably you're smartpriced.
Unfortunately you can do nothing about.

Try other PPC, PPA programs and see how they perform on your site.
