recently added adsense to my forums and have noticed that per click payouts are high, is this just an initial lure ?

AdSense can adjust based on the quality of the clicks wich is determined by whether they convert to a sale or not and many other factors. Both could be true, they could go down and they could stay up.

How high is your traffic? That's what should really tell you if it's natural or a couple people.

it's very new; not many people at all. Total of 19 registered, highest was 1.41 for a click, lowest .41

Stop advertising your referral link, it's getting annoying now.

This would be why then. The more traffic you get, the more it will "decline" and balance out.
