Adsense payments by check direct into my bank

I read the following in my adsense account and have a question about this issue
dSense payments are made on a monthly schedule. If your account balance reaches $100.00 in any month, we'll send your payment before the end of the following month, provided there are no holds on your account. For example, if your account balance reaches the payment threshold during November, we'll send you a payment at the end of December.

I was getting checks from adsnese and the payment worked the way the above guidelines said it wouldf. Since then I changed my account to the method of payment were they deposit payments directly in to my bank account. Now that I will be receiving my payment via direct deposit will it take as long to get paid as when I was paid by check?
