No. Those are not the sites earning the numbers I stated. I'll tell you this, and you won't believe it, all of those earnings are from sites in the "Gaming" niche, and each site has less than 30 pages each. Very small, very targeted. And no I don't spam the hell out of the search engines. I acquire strategic links across a variety of sites of varying levels of PR and popularity. I do good SEO, on and off page, and rank in the top 5 for the most popular keywords for each sites topic. I increase my traffic each day, and the clicks and earnings increase. That's the equation.
I am very glad to hear someone is really making progress and making a lot money in adsene. I hope that It will my turn. Great job! shelly
@christian 231 ...glad to hear u are making that much.. just curious to see the person who makes that much amount.. Is that your real pic. on the avatar u've posted.. (Girl with green clothes)
Well... i m noticing for last few days that adsense rates stabilizing my stats showing improved results
i do not see a down or up in the adsense this year. Same stats as always.. more traffic -> more revenue
Its not fair to blame adsense for everything that goes wrong with our sites. It always requires hardwork and quality content to grab attention of the visitors, may be this is the truth behind your success. Anyways, congrats from my side. Good to see that someone is on the way to success.
Ok, but acquiring links is still a form of spamming. It's either ethical spamming, or unethical spamming....that's all. Simply because nobody links to you willingly, at least not when your site is less than 30 pages. And the top sites don't simply link to you for no good reason. Unless...you're an authority site, OR you have a big budget.... Anyway, everyone is doing it, so I'm not saying you're wrong or anything. It's just a matter of SCALE.
Google Adsense is fair in my opinion. The pay the most and we should already appreciate that. I doubt they cheat us of barely anything. They deserve some of the money for making such a revolutionary program for us webmasters.
I'm of the opinion that if you create a site that has value, and people want to use, you'll naturally get links. That being said, they don't all go viral on their own, and most sites need a push to get seen. While its fun to sit around and hope that you get decent SERPS for a site and hope it becomes popular, I prefer to take action and help it get there. Nothing wrong with a little white hat (or grey) SEO, and that includes getting directory links and asking people for links. Google may frown upon it, but if you can do it and rank, then I'll be the first in line. Big time SEO companies charge thousands of dollars to do the exact same things I do for my own sites, and most of those guys don't have any more skills at SEO than you or I.
To be honest, I agree with the OP. April was also my record month earning-wise and I am already on track for a better month this month. Yeah, I'm not making a ton, but more than ever. I am actually really happy with the changes Google has made with AdSense.
Again, how absurd! So because you (some nameless, faceless guy on the internet) is happy with recent earnings, the rest of us should ignore factual data and stats that prove that nothing except clicks are substantially down? I couldn't care whether you agree or disagree with what is happening to me. My earnings are down as much as 40% and your optimism doesn't change a damn thing. That being said, I am happy that your're happy and hope the same can be said for the rest of us soon. One can only hope that Google is being honest and fair, but how will we ever know? I, for one, am extremely suspicious of the numbers I'm seeing.
You made $27 this month instead of $26 last month and those of us earning 4-figures a month who are seeing 40% declines in clicks (not impressions) should just ignore that because you agree with the OP? Am I missing something here. We're not talking individual cases here, we're talking about an industry-wide trend.
