Adsense...? Or is there a better alternative?

So I have a pretty low visitor stat to my sites, only around 1-35 uniques a day. But i'm curious, as I start developing all of my sites, and starting to implement my ads, is Adsense really the route I should be taking? Or have you found better luck with other pay-per-click/impressions programs?

Please note my websites are gaming/clan related, and then my free image hosting as well...

Adsense is poorly performing these days but it is still the best

 

Ohhhh man what can I tell you.... memmm.
I say why don't you simply try it.. with a banner or two , and see what happens. because no one can tll you really what you should do, its all about trying.

 

So are there not better ad networks out there?

AdSense is the best program for now. However, when you really begin to develop
the site, you may also want to go into private advertising.

 

I think Adbrite is the best alternative to adsense in low traffic blogs, since adbrite's payout is only 5$.
Bidvertiser it's a scam, they will not count all the clicks you get.
