Any advice whether I should switch to FastClick or Tribal Fusion instead of AdSense, it seems with AdSense the CPM is going down for me... I can get the clicks, but is seems that last week or so I have doubled my daily clicks but my rev is almost half of it was a week before that with half the clicks... I'm gettin just about a $1 CPM on over 10K impressions... Do you think I can get more with FC/TF? (I applied a couple of minutes ago they report something like $2-$7 CPMS I would love to have a $2 CPM) BTW I will try Chitika tomorrow the whole day and see if the CPM is any better, but I really don't like Chitika, nobody seems to click on those ads Somebody help what should i do? Also what are the real CPMs you'll are getting with FastClick and TF?
You don't have to choose. Use Adsense alongside whatever CPM network accepts you. Double your earnings.
Agreed. If your visitors aren't interested in google ads they might be interested in fastclick banners instead. Good luck.
Didn't know I could do both... What type of CPM you'll get with Tribal Fusion? And what size ads they got? Anything with 160 width and 400 and under height. Thanks
Depends. When you say you're getting 10k impressions, is that a day or month? TF generally requires a lot more than that to join, like 100k impressions/day. Unless of course you have a site they really want then they take you. CPM rates are decent; right now my total CPM with them fluctuates from 50-cents to 1-dollar. Not great, but for this time of the year, not bad. By comparison, Fastclick (Valueclick) is averaging around 35-cents CPM. But I don't run a lot of pop-unders, so my numbers may be skewed somewhat.
That number was per day but yeah I dont get the 100K/day... So let me get this for 100,000K/day you make from 35 - 50/day? Are you doing better with adsense? Do you combine? If so how much do you make per 100K impressions?
$50/day is pretty average with TF for this time of the year. You don't really start making money until toward the end of the year, when companies realize they've been too stingy with their ad budget and has to unload it quick or else they don't get the same ad budget for next year (a little corporate inside there ). I diversify my sites between Adsense, TF, and Gorilla Nation, with Fastclick/Valueclick, Casale, and Axill filling out the defaults. Axill, despite paying a flat .30-cent CPM, has been doing surprisingly well for me. It's kind of nice to have a stable income, as they never fluctuate up or down. If all else fails, and all the other CPM networks turn you down, give Axill.com a try.
