I have a forum, it is about adobe programs and what not, the link is in my sig if you want to check it out, but anyway. I have 2 spots of adsense one at the top and one at the bottom. I was thinking of putting adobe affiliate (CJ)instead of adsense at one of those spots, which one do you think will bring in more money.
if you're not making a lot from adsense at the moment, an adobe affiliate might bring in more. the best way to determine is really just to test it.
I would just try it out and see how it works. I have not had my much success with CJ but I do earn a little bit with Adsense. The only way to know is to test it for a bit both ways and see which works the best.
Well I would definately try CJ because they're a great company and if your adsense revenues are low, you don't have much to lose! Good luck
Hello, You should try using CJ for around one or 2 weeks, then you can compare, because maybe one day, you earn nothing with CJ, but the second day you earn money, etc...
Well, you'll never know unless you try. CJ might work well with your site niche, so it's definitely an alternative you'd want to experiment with.
i had trouble earning in my forums area - Adsense just get any clicks.. I finally gave up and tried Kontera which does great. I also started using Auction Ads which is doing pretty good also.
Adsense doesn't perform well in forums, try merging them in teh first post or after the first post in a separate box.
You can definitely give it a try at least. In some cases depending on your niche, CJ will outperform greatly AdSense.
Well, by looks of things, the forum is pretty new. I think you need to fcous on getting traffic and pouplating the forum before your thoughts turn to how best to monetise the site. For now, I think adsense is the best way to go ecause it can bring a few cents even with very limited traffic which CJ is unlikely to unless you have a popular forum.
You have to make a lot of tests. If Adsense isn't bringing you a lot of money, try CJ for a week or two and see how it goes.
