Adsense or affiliate programs on programming sites?

ok, I have a programming site (http://htmlcsstutorials.com) and the click through rate for these kind of sites is pretty low. webmasters generally avoid clicking on the ads like the plague most of the time, even if the ad interests them. I don't want to try to trick someone into clicking on ads. I've thought about switching to affilliate programs on most pages and placing adsense on the pages where most of the visitors leave from. they're leaving anyway, so why not try to make a few cents. anyway, what your thoughts?

You're right about the low CTR on sites such as yours but I'm not sure affiliate programs is the answer either. How many companies are out there that have affiliate programs that would be of interest to your kind of visitors?

I did a quick search, "css tutorials affiliate programs," and found none. You might want to do some more searching but be sure to include the words, "affiliate programs" because any site offering such a program will will some affiliate text or links on their site which should show up in the search results.

Also check on Commission Junction to see if they have any merchants that offer products or services of interest to your visitors.
