I have been looking for other sources of online income. Reliance on Adsense can be disappointing sometimes. plentyoffish.com is said to be earning in millions, and good for the guy behind the site. But for us who need to put good meals on the table 3 times a day through online ventures and "misadventures", we have to "diversify" our ammunitions. I can only wish for now that Yahoo and Microsoft, for instance, would deploy a worldwide adsense-type of advertising network so that the webmasters of the world would be finally free from the obsession and shackles of "Adsense seduction."
same here guys my adsense last january average $2 - $3 a day on febuary - $1 - sometimes $2 and this month i got always cents even i have a lot on clicks. huhu
If it gets any lower I'll be able to afford advertising through AdWords... Though, is it any wonder that "paid links" are still around... people have to pay for hosting somehow, and with the dwindling earnings from Adsense, people simply must make due.
i don't see any lower earnings with adsense...i get a lot of those low paying ads but i get more of those 1.00 and 2.00 clicks to bring it up to a nice average...
I guess they would be! Each and every ad click would bring them profit. Loosing publishers like you means loosing possible profit/ revenue. I know they make more profit out of the big guys. Loosing one or two publishers like you may not matter. How about thousands of publishers like you?
This is extremely low. There is a possibility that few of your those 8 click might be considered as invalid
yesterday I had an all time record of mine...$4.10 through Adsense with just one site. Now, today it's back to 5-cent clicks.
I dont know about you all but I typically get $1 + per click....when you are getting crappy money for your clicks it is your niche not adsense....choose a niche that has lots of advertisers and a niche that the advertisers pay a lot of money for their ads....
Mine is $100 for 500 days plus plus 10 000 cents for 500 days = 20 cents a day, considering it, not too bad Given that my web designing and my webmastering skills are a nightmare.
I echo James Dean Nash's comment. I'm no Adsense expert, but I can just picture most of these sites with "pennies for clicks" being low paying niches. Everyday in these forums I see people requesting scripts for a joke site, image hosting sites, directories, etc. These are a "dime a dozen" sites, and everyone is creating them. What kind of ads are showing up on these sites? Probably junk ads - you are not going to get many high paying ads for cars, mortgages, lawyers, or whatever is high paying these days. On a joke site, you will probably get ads to visit other joke sites like yours. That advertiser is probably only paying chump change for that ad, because he is not selling anything of high value. A percentage of chump change paid by the advertiser is even less chump change for you! Hence the niche... find the niche... and make some real money!
