Hi: All the ads on my page are only showing ads targeted towards Blogs or blogging. This is rather frustrating because I have tons of content on my blog otherwise. I've boiled it down to the fact that I have my blog under the directory: www.mysite.com/blog/blogger.php Because of that blog directory, it ruins everything. To test out if that was the problem, I republished the blog to my root directory, and that fixed it. I wouldn't mind simply fixing the problem, but that url & directory has a good pagerank, and I'd hate to lose it. What can I do to fix this? Is there any tricks with PHP to clear some type of header cache or something I can do with my .htaccess file? Thanks in Advance.
If I do a 301 redirect, do you think my new page will have the same PR when google does another update as my old page?
What you need to do is decide on the type of theme you wish your blog to have. Once you have decided, create some outbound links to some on-theme websites; this will help Google decide on a theme for your website. Hexed
You can block the blog ads in the Competitive Ad Filter. Here's a list of blog advertisers that I got somewhere on the web: agematch.com aish.com arc99.com ardice.com assortedinternet.com audioblog.com blog-software-blog.com blog.co.uk blogexplosion.com blogger.com bloggercrab.com blogging-bonanza.com bloggingbiz.com bloggingequalizer.com bloggingsecrets.com blogharbor.com blogidentity.com blogigo.com blogit.com blogizm.com blogjet.com blogmysite.com blogomonster.com blogpulse.com blogs.ca blogspot.com blogster.com blogstogo.com blogware.com bollywood.mu buzzmetrics.com canaca.com cerado.com cheblogs.com chrisabraham.com cohit.com computerweekly.com creative-weblogging.com dealtime.co.uk didakutz.com digg.com digitalearning.com domaindirect.com dreamhost.com easyeart.co.uk editme.com egoweblog.com enewsblog.com etraveldiary.com ezsgblog.com faces.com fieldinfocus.co.uk findnot.com flexfinder.com forum4bloggers.com fotothing.com freeenterpriseland.com friendcircles.com fullscalecommerce.com futublog.com go27.com gowholesale.com homocon.com igossip.com infoworld.com isontheweb.co.uk ittoolbox.com journalhome.com journallog.com keepmedia.com lesbianconnect.com majorscripts.com makepropaganda.com mamma.com marketingwithsafelists.com miego.com moretoblog.com myblogsite.com myownblog.net myrsscreator.com netfirms.com newbay.com newsgator.com ohiomortgageblog.com person.com phpwebhosting.com plentyoffish.com pluck.com prosperall.com ratherbecreative.com rayslist.com rocketinfo.com rockgarden.co.uk rsscache.com schtuff.com search-detective.net secretsofsuccess.com securesafepro.com slate.com socioeconomics.com sparkpod.com squarespace.com stampedesecret.com stylusstudio.com successblog.biz texturadesign.com thethingsiwant.com tractionsoftware.com traffictransit.com travelblog.org travelpod.com travelpost.com tunu.ca typepad.com userland.com volanthosting.com vortexhost.com wareareyou.com webfetch.com webpromall.com wireclub.com wonderbranding.com workpad.com yourfreeblog.com
I don’t know where you get your info from Tazo, but RatherBeCreative.com is far from being or becoming a blog advertiser. We are an art web site that offers a free art blog and that is the extent of it. Thank you for your support.
sbb, have you ever advertised your art with AdWords, using blog and RSS related keywords? If so, your ads would have shown up on sites that the AdSense mediabot considers to be blog related. That's probably why tazo's list contains your url, so your ads wouldn't show up on his (her??) site. It's better for you in theory because most blogs are geared toward topics other than blogging or art, thus, this may cut down on untargeted clicks of your ads. K
