Hey everyone, I am about to create a blog on Wordpress, but have heard that you cannot put Adsense on it. Is this true? Is there a way to get around it or something? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
lool man, yes you CAN have adsense on your blog if it is not about porn, warz, cracking, etc ... reat the adsense TOS
You cannot load adsense on blogs by wordpress.com ... you need to have your own domain and web server to run wordpress your end and put adsense on them.
Can you please explain what you mean by this? Are you saying that I should get a doamain and web server, and then use wordpress on that? I'm not sure if I understand. I'm pretty new to this whole thing, so I really appreciate any help. Thanks.
LEmme explain you in detail: http://wordpress.com/ >> You Get a Free Blog Here -- just like blogspot.. ul have myblogMonkeyman22.wordpress.com something... Now if you have/own myblogMonkeyman22.com you can easily goto http://wordpress.org/download/ >> Download the script and run it on your website, isn't? Running wordpress on your website, allows you to keep adsense on it. At wordpress.com the free blog thingy, its disabled for security reasons! I hope it clear buddy!
You can't put adsense on wordpress hosted blog. However if you're just using WordPress as a CMS on your own domain, etc. there are no problems. AdSense is really very easy to configure. Blogs hosted on blogger will let you run AdSense
Your own domain isn't really a requirement We were just pointing out that you can't integrate AdSense into those "click-and-go" wordpress blogs you're getting at blogspot.com, wordpress.com, surfandsmile.com, and others. You would need to have a manual installation of Wordpress (by yourself) in order to do that.
Of course you can put Adsense on Wordpress. There is even a great plugin called "Adsense Deluxe" to place them on a Wordpress driven blog.
it's not true. you can use adsense code on everywhere if it's not against the tos and using adsense on wordpress is not against the tos
Read Humms response above, he's spot on. No you can't put adsense on blogs hosted by wordpress.com Yes you can put adsense on the wordpress software if you install it yourself on your own domain. If you're not sure what you're doing, find a hosting company with 'Fantastico' - then pay for a domain name and hosting, then the hosting company will install WordPress for you with just a couple of clicks. I can't advise on the best hosting companies but the domain name and hosting together should cost less than $30-$50 a year. Much better in the long term than hosting your blog on wordpress.com - because you can market your site, do link building for your site, and monetise your site.
you can have adsense on your site as long as it complys with the terms of service. wordpress is fine as long as it's on your own site.
when you said blogspot do you mean blogger.com? cos i think they do allow adsense on those. although i've just now read you cant for wordpress's free blogs
ya u can have adsense on blogger/blogspot blogs... not possble on wordpress blogs.... however if ur wordpress blog is hosted on ur own server, then adsense possible... cheers
