You can use many plugins, but I prefer editing the theme directly. Search the "SinglePost.php" and try different locations (it was something like <php title>, right down that).

But if you don't know much about it, I strongly suggest you to use plugins (they are everywhere, just google it).

You can also use Adsense-ready Wordpress themes.

your design is nothing over the top [thats not a bad thing] so you can use specially made templates for the adsense in which they've been placed to get the most clicks possible...

Im currently just about to test one of them myself, it looks pretty good..

google - 'prosense' wordpress theme and it'l bring it up for you :)

You don't need any plugins. Just take a look at the edit template page and choose the php script that relates to the place where you want to add the adsense code and place the appropriate code there.
Hope this helps. If you have any issues, pm me.

Edit your main template and single post under the theme editor in Presentation section. Just copy and paste the adsense code on the template if you want it to appear on the main content page. If it is the sidebar, just edit the sidebar template will do.
