Adsense on Wiki Sites?

One quick Question?

Can I use Adsense on a site developed using Wikimedia...

I am not talking about creating my own wiki script. I want to use the Wiki media script to develop a site.. Can I use adsense on that?

I don't remember any sites powered by wikimedia using adsense.. which is why I am asking this..

Can you point me to any wiki sites with adsense running on it?

I would think that wiki sites can have Adsense. It would be comparable to a forum with Adsense I would think. It's user driven as far as content is concerned, so I'd think it would be okay. I'll check around to see if I can spot any.

 

If your site will follow the adsense TOS then you can put adsense ads on it.

 

You can put ads on ANY site that complies with evil G's tos.

Yup can put adsense on any site provided that it has not violate any adsense policies

 

You would have to monitor all edits carefully. Anyone could add some pornographic, drug or gambling related material up at any moment of any day.

It might be more work than you're prepared to do.

Yes no problem at all, milliondollarwiki allowed buyers to have adsense as an example.

 

if you are talking about using wiki script and content too then you should check about content copyrights issue
it may be against TOS

 

I am talking about the Wikimedia script.. that same one that powers wikipedia.
