    Hey everyone,

I was wondering if its ok to put adsense on pages SEOed for keywords like " celebrity nude pics " ( example ) . I have found a highly searched for term , and according to research, if i build a site around this keyword i can make an easy $ 100 / day from that site alone. Unfortunately, the phrase i want to target contains the keyword " nude ". If you think this is in the shady grey area, do you think a wise solution would be to 301 redirect that site ( which contains the "unallowed" keywords for SEO purposes but no adsense ads on those pages to comply with the program policies ) to a new " clean " site ( which doesnt contain any " unallowed keyword ". Would the new site take the SEO benefit from the old site , and in the same time getting the traffic from that " unallowed" keyword im targetting ?

I saw many sites seoing their pages with " unallowed " keywords, without any problems. While searching on google.com, i found forum threads where people mentioned receiving auto-generated warnings emails from adsense , as a result of the adsense bot looking for "unallowed" keywords in order to hunt sites that are running adsense ads on porn sites. One guy mentioned in a forum that there was this bot spamming his forums with links to adult sites ( with anchor text that included keywords sex and nude ), and the adsense bot found that page and he automatically got an email notifying him that ad serving on that site was disabled. Then he emailed them back and explained the situation and they enabled ad sering to his site once again. Most probably, like they said , its an automatic flag raised by the adsense bot.

It's interesting how google adsense's algo works.

Pls guys share your thoughts on your issue.

I think this might be best suited for a direct email to Adsense. I know normally anything adult related isn't allowed but I think for sites not offering actual adult material or language you might fall into a gray area. My advice: send them an email and make sure one way or the other.

    Update :

I have contacted my rep at google, and she told me i can put adsense on domain names which dont contain excessive profanity..The word " nude " in a domain name is ok as long as there is no adult content or excessive profanity on that site. She gave me an example of people doing this thru the adsense domain parking program. She also said i shouldnt be mentioning the keyword " nude" too many times or else it would trigger a flag that the site has adult content and ad serving on that site would be disabled automatically until you reply back , then a human can look at your site and see that there is really no adult content on that page and only an adsense bot automatically raising a flag on that site. As you see its a hassle, so dont use the adsense stop words too many times on your page to avoid the hassle of asking for human review of that site that was flagged to be " adult ".
