Greetings, I know that it is against Google's ToS to serve google ads in client apps but what if those software applications call web pages WITH CONTENT (such as a help page, a leaderboard, etc.) using say a .NET browser control? The reason why I ask is because I am seeing sites do that such as www.di.fm who show google ads in their "What's Playing" page that is displayed in Windows Media Player. This makes me believe that is either a) allowed or b) google is not consistent. Although, I would say that if google disallowed this then their entire model would be false because they would inadvertantly ban all browsers. Could I get clarification on this? I have a strong need to fill inventory for advertisements for pages that will be of important content that will be called within the application instead of just spawning a random browser window (that is tacky practice) and if I put google adsense on those pages like the ones that aren't in the application, then I don't want to have my account in trouble. With that being said, are there any advertising companies of reputable notary that allow advertising in software apps, or rather games (but not 2D/3D games but lobby type games).
