Adsense on this forum

    What do you guys think about adding adsense to the footer on these forums. Personally I think that my eyes dont even start on the page until they get below the menu bar which is a good inch and a half from the bottom of the ads. If they were placed at the end of a page (after reading a thread) I think there might be more clicks. This is all up to Shawn of course, but I wanted to see what you guys thought.

    on a related note.. I got my first click from this forum a couple days ago!!! Ill tell tell you the click was for more than a nickel!!!

    Would be interesting to know some of the adsense data for these forums. I can't imagine that the CTR is very high. Most webmasters that visit here will probably never click on one of the ads - we're kind of conditioned against clicking :D:D

    I'd agree. It'd probably make a lot more targetting CPM than from click thru.
