One of my forums discusses all kinds of weapons. We have forum sections on pistols, rifles, shotguns, knives - everything that google does not want adsense on. But those sections are just a small part of the whole forum. We also have sections on hiking, camping, gardening, political discussion,,, The forum does not have any adsense ads on it. I'am installing wordpress in a folder under the forum and creating an articles section. Nothing about weapons will be allowed in the new area. Its going to be about hiking, camping, gardening,,,, but nothing to do with weapons of any kind. I'am thinking about putting adsense ads in the new section. But I am also a little confused. I know that google does not want adsense ads on pages that promote the sale of weapons, but does that include the whole site? Adsense guidelines says it does not want ads on sites that links to the sale of weapons. And in another paragraph it says pages. Instead of installing wordpress in a folder under the forum, maybe create a subdomain so google will see the articles section as a different site? I know its a thin line to walk. The one thing I do not want to do is get banned from adsense. Maybe it would be safer just to leave adsense off the new section as well?
