Adsense on search pages

Am I correct in thinking that adsense ads are not allowed on search results pages? (searching from within my site for pages within my site, not another SE).

I they are. Because a search page is not something that is useful to only one user. Btw, Google displays ads on its search pages - that's what it is about, right?....

    Are you sure about this?
I might be wrong, but I think I read somewhere that recent changes made in the TOS allowed you to display Google ads on search results pages.

Thanks... That means things will be easier for me since I don't have to strip adsense out of my templates for search results. It would be a stupid reason to break the rules since hardly anyone ever searches, but it's always good to have ads showing. Appreciate your help.

I know they dont allow their ads on PPC Search sites or their results. Not sure about the type of results you are talking about.

Just ask google and provide them with the example where you want to place the ads. I do that and they said it fine for me to place google ads on my site search results page. I'm not using any ppc but just a built in search engine for my site

My domain was already blocked. They emailed and told me to remove the ads. :(
