Hey guys, i have some websites on different topics, most of them have a news/updates section. The news and updates are all pulled via RSS from other sites. Am i allowed to put adsense on these pages? For example,
    http://wowftw.net/news
all the content is from other pages. Has anyone done this, and is it ok with google?

    Matthew

i already emailed google a few minutes ago, but they have been slow lately, so i thought id ask here, as im sure some of you have tried it.

thats what i thought, so in this case, where the source of the material not only makes it readily available, but encourages that others use it, it should be fine.

If it is readily available, I am sure that you can add a small disclaimer in the footer if you are worried also. I tried the whole RSS thing in the past, but like I said in the PM, I never really got the site to the point I wanted it to reach.

Your website re-sparked my interest to get a couple sites back up. I really, really liked the design of the site! Time to start Googling for information ;)

I see a lot of people do site with automated content from RSS with adsense and they are doing okay. You won't violate any copyright, since it's the original writers who broadcasted their news through RSS.

i think you can put adsense on rss based sites. it's not against the adsense tos . there is content on these pages and it's not copyrighted material
