Adsense on my site - can I add an adult content page?

I'm running adsense on my site, but want to add a page for 'adult content', which would contain links to adult shops and online stores. The 'adult' page would NOT have adsense on it.

Anyone know if this a TOS violation?

I am under the assumption that adsense TOS works on a page-by-page basis not by domain.

It never hurts to contact adsense support and ask these types of questions.

i don't think so. if you want to be doubly sure, DON"T PUT adsense on the page which contains the links (i doubt you'd get any relevant ads anyway).

No, by personal experience I can tell you that as long as that page does not have adsense banners you will be ok

I just re-read the TOS and am more confused now.

"Don't place Google ads on sites that contain prohibited content."
    - so from that I'd say it's not allowed

"Google ads may not be displayed alongside any type of content prohibited by our programme policies, including adult or mature content, gambling-related content, or drug content. It's your responsibility to ensure that all of your pages adhere to these policies."
    - no ads would be 'alongside' any adult pages, so the pages would 'adhere these policies' - so from this I'd say it was OK.

I guess I'd better email them.

The best thing would indeed be to e-mail them. At least then you will have official word from Google themselves if it's allowed or not. As far as I understand the ToS it should be fine as long as your entire site isn't about adult content (which I assume it isn't) and you don't place the Adsense ads on the page in question.

It's better be safe than sorry, so drop them a mail.
