Adsense on my blog

Just started a new blog today, and I was wondering if someone has experience with blogs, is it fine to keep one ad and one link box at the top or is it better to place the ads in between the articles?

It depends, you gonna have to test it for a while to see what is better for you!

 

To me, I got more clicks if I place within the post.

Thanks, got a problem with the ads on my page now...

If I approach my page via www.gumball-3000.com/rally/ it doesn't show the links, and show total irrelevant ads, but when I approach the site via www.gumball-3000.com/rally/index.php it's fine... What could be causing this?!

 

I had the similar problem before as well. I am guessing you are doing a lot of update lately. The next day this problem should go away.

 

Make sure you have alot of high paying keywords!

 

Days pass, problem stays, but I emailed google about it... Hopefully they have a solution...

Blogger is great with adsense intergrated.

I don't really like the big adsense block on top of your main column but I guess it makes some money...

 

well i didnt see the adsense tab when i just went to put some contextual ads on my new blog, and all the tabs don't say affiliate either is there more to know?

It may generate clicks, but it just looks "Spammy" I wouldnt return to your blog
