I need some help. I have been working on my blog at http://internetbusinessrant.blogspot.com for a few weeks now, and have not seen much AdSense (or other) income as of yet. To those who have experience: 1) Is this normal? Do I just need to wait longer? 2) I have read about proper AdSense optimization, but I am not sure if I am doing things right, please look at my site and provide any tips you could on ad placement, etc. Also, any general website tips on content and free traffic generation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Peter
great placement. That template theme is just not to appealing. I think the ad blends in to much. Try another blog theme.
Why not set up your own blog using wordpress? I advocate buying your own domain name and setting one up yourself rather than building your house on somebody elses land as it where. This way, if it comes to it, you can always sell your blog to somebody else and make a fortune, not to mention the freedom you have by doing things yourself. Always makes more sense to me, providing your capable of running the whole thing yourself. Just my opinion.
Yes, when you decide to go a long way to make money in adsense, get your own domain and probably use wordpress, having more features and google loves both blogger and wordpress for giving traffic, so no worry about SEO.
In order to get clicks, you have to have traffic. Take a usual, normal, medium CPC of $0.2, with a usual, normal, medium CTR of 2% let's say. That means that in order for you to earn $200 / month, you have to have at least 50.000 pageviews/month. Do you have that many ?
