    Hello,

I have been having some trouble with my adsense since I started using it. Nothing major but I have a blog and it seems that the home page of the blog isn't getting the targeted ads that I chose. The articles and other pages are but not the home page.

Anyone have this problem occur to them.

    Regards,
    Matt

I see your site is about web hosting, storage, etc. I also find relevant ads. Sometimes, if the site has more than one niches, it's hard for AdSense cralwer to exactly figure out what the site is about. You can use AdSense section targeting for your home page if you want ads from a specific niche.

try this. in the HTML code bookend the portion of text that most closely describes what your ads should be about with these lines:

    <!– google_ad_section_start –>

    <!– google_ad_section_end –>

this will clue adsense in on what your site is about.

Ok great, I gave it a start and if you see, at hoststadium.com the ads are definitely related to my site. Great, thanks for the help. If you have a site let me know and I will link to it for the gratitude.

Your website content has to be spot on for them to pick up the right ads, also it is best to have the right page title, url, site description, etc otherwise you will not get the best paying ads. It takes some playing around with. If you are using wordpress for it I would also suggest you look around for another platform as this does not always integrate well with adsense
