Adsense on Image Hosting sites

    Hi guys.
    I have a image hosting site and it gets 2k to 3 k views /day..
    but adsense earnings are soo low.I have placed a banner in header and its clearly visible .
    I believe the earnings are less due to the fact that the page on which ads are displayed wont have content except the image and the ad .
    so please advice me ,a way to increase the earnings , or do you advice me to go with any other ads network ?

    Well how about making it necessary to have a title and description for the uploaded images. Even tags is not a bad idea.
