If you have some hubpages, can you tell me:

How long you have you been a member?
What traffic do you get from google?
How long did it take before google sent traffic?

If you wanted to make $2000 a month from hubpages how many hubs would you require?

I've read some good things in other threads about hubs - they're achieving good pays per click/adsense. They say that they pay 100% ad revenue to hubbers. Given this, how do yu reckon they make any money?

how many hub is not the question, its how much traffic yuo get and what are the topics of the hubs. you may have 200 hubs and get 50 visitors a day or 50 hubs and get 5000 visitors a day. but there are people who make living on hubpages and own atleast 200 hubs each. visit the hubpages forum and see people who use the forum on a regular basis usually have 100+ hubs each

Thanks for your reply above. I've published some popular hubs and I'm pleased with the way they rank in Google almost immediately. At first most my traffic came from other hub users but within two weeks google.com was biggest traffic generator.

I'm letting the articles settle down for a month or two now. They make a few dollars most days - not enough but a good start.

BTW hubpages don't pay 100% or they do but only 60% of the time...

Thanks for sharing this great info. Hib pages. I have a few but I never checked those to see how they are doing. Do I need to promote them to generate decent coins? If I have to promote them, I would prefer writing articles for my own site rather than for hubpages. If I can generate passive incomes, than I am all for writing hub pages. Also, what types of articles are popular in hub pages?

In my experience it's not worth it, if you took the articles and instead just put it on your own site which you control - you can optimize the ad placement better and get more money from it. Hub Spots main perks are heavy ad optimization and already existent platform - but you can do all that yourself and profit more off that.

That's just my opinion, I think hubpages is only good for people who don't how to create sites or can't be bothered for whatever reason.

You can publish your website's articles on a Hubpage and link it to your website. It doesn't cost anything, brings you regular income and traffic to your prime site/s. Also - my opinion - Hub and a number of other publishing sites I use - do not limit you to specific topics. If you write about diverse matters, understand adsense and can invest some time - these sites can do well for you. I'm relatively new to hubpages but can see it has equal potential with other articles site I've been publishing of for over two years (in one case).

PS (Slincon) you can delete articles at any time from these sites so there shouldn't be any loss of control
