I wonder is it ok with TOS to put my adsense for search on web site I made for some of my friends.(I did it for free) All sites are hosted on free hosts (netfirms, 150mb ....) and they already have some kind of advertising on them.
    Thanks

As long as you are not placing the ads on a page with a competing ad system or the site itself does not break the TOS and you have their permission then you may place it on the website. If the site also has Google placed on it by the host then you will not be able to do this as they do not allow two publishers to do this. It is something that can get you a nasty email you will not like in most cases. So best to contact them and show them the site first and get it straight from the horses mouth. Then if they say it is ok you should keep the email for future use if they say later that you are violating a policy. You will at least have some recourse then.

Is there any way to do a 301 redirect from free hosting to another host? If not, I think it a bad idea. Been there and done that. We got to point we were exceeding bandwidth allowed on free host and had to move site. Now we are waiting to be indexed all over again. I would suggest you bite the bullet and pay for cheap hosting now.

    Good luck.
