adsense on free hosted sites?

Been wanting to ask this for a long time already...

I have an account with a free hosted site (www.150m.com and xoompages). Looking at the Terms of both these providers, a "Your ads - OK" is stated. I have placed some adsense ads there. Is this practice allowed?

It's allowed, yes. Just be careful your webhost doesn't have Adsense ads of their own, or otherwise you might end up with two publishers showing two different ads on the same page, and that is a violation of the TOS.

Few month back I had asked the same question to google adsense support team and they replied that publishing ads of two different publishers on same page is not against their TOS :). But don't exceed max numbers of ads on same page.

For example, geocities .com which is run by yahoo? Hmmm....

Which of course, is best practice.

    Thanks once again...

yes it is allowed but if you are using a free host try using some more quality like talkhost.info where you have cpanel hosting

Of course this is incorrect. It's perfectly acceptable to display the ads of two different publishers on the same page - as long as the maximum number of each ad format is not exceeded. From a practical point of view it probably isn't desirable to do this (arguments over how the revenue is shared) but it certainly isn't prohibited.

its allowed as long as you don't exceed the maximum amount of ads allowed and that you don't place google's competitor ads such as yahoo in the same page.. it is definitely a violation

When did they change this part of their TOS? It used to be that you couldn't allow two publishers ID to show up on the same page.

Im not sure about 2 pub id's on the same site but why not just buy your own hosting.

    I can personally recomend NPserve.com <- 30c per month for a basic plan :)

If you cant be bothered to spend that much then why make a site as its gota be worth more than 30c a month.
