I am asking based on your own experience. I have come to find that forums seem to have the upper hand when they are very niche specific. I am not sure why this is, but I would imagine it is due to consistently new daily activity. This is assuming the forum is getting goo traffic with great active members.
yeah i've never done well with any forum... maybe didn't pick the right niche... but it would definately take a long while for it to get busy enough to make some money
Forums always have same visitors and they are not interested in ads so very low CTR and earning compared to blogs
i agree with user info about getting same visitors daily that are not interested to click ads , but forum gets search traffic also , some user don,t get signup but can click interested ads in it
i think the issue with forums, is you get mainly the same users coming and going each day, although this shouldn't make much difference if adsense is serving relevant ads each time
I think Both works very well and both are very niche specific. You can direct any users through forums and blogs. Both have great opportunity to monetize.
In my experience Blogs performed better for me then forums. Really it just depends on how many new daily visitors you have. The biggest problem with forums is banner blindness. If the same people visit each day they are less and less likely to click on any ads.
