AdSense on ecommerce site

    Hi everyone!

    It's been awhile since I've posted in the AdSense section, but I had a quick question, and wanted to see if some of you guys could review my site. :)

    I recently placed AdSense on my http://www.halfpricedgifts.com site, and wanted to get opinions on two things:

    1. Its placement on the site
    2. Whether they should even be on an ecommerce site

    when the eyes of the visitor is fixed on the products he will mostly not see the the ad on the top

    Not a very good placement! CTR must be low with that placement. This kind of placement is ideal for very high traffic webmsite (Like this forums) where lots of impressions are created!

    Where the ads are located is where people don't really look at.. you should place it where it's more visible.

    Try:
    Right about your New Arrivals text in the center of the page

    AND/OR

    on the left side of the page below your links
