How do you feel about adsense on a buisness homepage? First, it's a company, so adsense maybe feels a bit "cheap"? Also, wouldn't adsense advertise my competitors, leading traffic away from my site to other similair companies, hurting my sales?
Yeap, a professional company web site depicts the image of a company, if you need to add adsense to that, it makes it seemed that the company cannot even afford web hosting without having some earnings via adsense. Company sites are different from sites like portals, news web sites etc. Adsense should not be there.
Yup I agree that it's cheap of them to do that. But I know a Philippine rural bank that has adsense on their front page.
It will make the site and company look cheap. And It will hurt sales, because some people don't even know what adsense is. They think it's a link or something.
