Adsense on Celeb sites that link to Adult sites??

    I know adsense isnt allowed on adult sites BUT

    i see adsense on celeb sites.

    What IF those celeb sites link to many adult/porn sites, can we still have adsense on them?

    It's risk, I think google wouldn't like to display ads with adult ads in the same place.

    visitors from adult site is against TOS , but the link to adult site is bit confused.

    there is no confusion here. Anything remotely related to Adult site is NO NO for Google.

    If they see an adult site linked to your adsense they will ban you. I think there is little to no gray area with this rule.

    I'm not so sure... it gets kind of grey. Take this example:

    There some "Top Blog" sites that have rankings. To rank a blog you like, you have to click a button on the blog to go to the rankings site. On that same ranking site, they state that adult content is not allowed BUT they have a link to a "Top Adult Blog" sites and encourage adult blogs to use that site instead.

    There are thousands of blogs listed on these sites and almost all of which are running AdSense. All with pages that eventually lead to links to adult sites promoted by the initial site.

    So where is it ok have a link to an adult site? After 2 links minimum? Sure about that?

    According to your example:


    The blog rating site has external links to adult sites. Google doesn't like this at all. Linking to bad neighbourhoods leads to penalties at some stage. If the link is nofollow, then its fine.

    Secondly, are they running adsense on the site which has external links to Adult sites? if they are then could be in trouble.

    I have seen a few adult sites on blogspot using adsense. Im not to sure whether they are still making money from adsense. I think it would have got closed down rather instantly.
